Carroll County Ohio Center for the Arts

Located in the historical downtown area of Carrollton, Ohio the Carroll County Arts Center is the cultural and artistic hub of Carroll County. The Richard Hannon Gallery on the first floor features multi-faceted exhibits in pottery; wood carving; paintings in watercolor, pastels and oils, stain glass; photography; and quilts. The Arts Center’s Gallery Gift Shop offers an extensive visual art gallery featuring unique one of a kind and original works and copies by local artists. The Volunteer-staffed Gift Shop offers a fine selection of handmade all occasion cards; beautiful stained glass; fashionable dichroic glass jewelry; detailed woodcrafts and pottery; as well as photos and paintings in a variety of media techniques, all are on display and available for purchase.

The Carroll County Arts Center offers a variety of Art Education Workshops and lectures for both children and adults, a Writer’s Guild. Two musical groups affiliated with the Arts Center are Carroll County Chorale Community Choir; and the Mountain Dulcimers. Other programs sponsored by the Arts Center include a Summer Concert Series at the, Bluebird Amphitheater and “Arts of Appalachian” summer art/music camp for children entering 4th, 5th or 6th grades.

Center programming is made possible by generous support from membership, corporate sponsors, donor gifts, and grants. Their support continues to build a lasting relationship for the Arts at the Carroll County Ohio Arts Center.

Admission:
There is no charge to view the collection or for exhibits. Free-will offerings are accepted and greatly appreciated.
