Janna Wheeler Exhibit
                                             -- 2007, February

Janna Wheeler has over 20 original drawings, pastels, and watercolor paintings on display during the July’s Featured Artist Exhibit at the Carroll County Arts Center. Janna is a 2007 Carrollton High graduate.

Janna is a student of Diane Betz Granger of Minerva, having studies with her since 2001. Janna credits a “How to Draw Animals” book as the spark that started her interest in drawing. She also credits Duane Abel and Lynn Fox as positive influences on her art career. Janna participated in the Post-Secondary Option through Kent State University – Tuscarawas Campus in her junior and senior years and plans on continuing her artistic career at Youngstown State University.

Janna has exhibited works at the Algonquin Mill Festival, the Carroll County Fair, the York, PA. Tri-County Fair and CCCAA Student Art Show as well as Diane Granger’s art contest in Minerva. She recently entered the Pittsburgh Technical Institute’s “Voices & Visions” art contest and was in last summer’s Alliance Outdoors Art Show at Mount Union College.
